Maybe snow will be good? ~4 miles up, ~2,500 ft gain, so 3 hours up. 1.5 hours down?
- May 31 (Monday) – Got 1.2 miles from the trailhead, trail completely covered by snow, “crampons highly recommended”, didn’t see other people (but that was on a Monday)
- June 11th – Currently ~2ft of snow still at the trailhead and parking is about ~1/2 mile from the TH.
- June 13th – Had to park .8 miles from trail head due to snow . Trial was pretty much covered under snow please use offline map with gps

- 4:45 PM – At trailhead (~65 degrees, partly sunny)
- 5:00 PM – Skinning up (3.5 miles, 2,500 ft gain)
- 8:00 PM – At lookout
- Sleep there (low 40’s)
- Friday
- 5:00 AM – See sunrise
- 6:00 AM – Ski down (~45 degrees, sunny, hopefully snow has started to soften)
- 7:30 AM – At car
- 8:00 AM – Drive to Bellingham
- 9:15 AM – In Bellingham (1:15 hr drive) – The Gray North Waffle Co opens at 8am and is open till 5pm
- 1:00 PM – Head home (1:30 hr drive)
- 2:30 PM – Home
