Saturday
- 11:00 AM – Drive to The Park Side Cafe, get lunch
- 12:30 PM – Lunch at Park Side Cafe
- 1:30 PM – Arrive at trailhead
- 2:00 PM – Backpack in to climbers camp (5.5 miles, 2,500 ft gain, ~3 hours)
- 5:00 PM – Arrive at camp, set up camp (sunset at 7:14 PM)
- There should be a small stream next to camp to filter water, on Sept 12th it still had enough water to filter

Sunday
- 6:30 AM – Start getting up (sunrise at 6:54 AM)
- 7:00 AM – Hike to summit (1.7 miles, 3,900 ft gain, ~3.5 hours)
- 10:30 AM – Summit
- 11:00 AM – Hike down (1.7 miles, 3,900 ft loss, ~2.5 hours)
- 1:30 PM – Back at camp
- 2:30 PM – Backpacking out (5.5 miles, ~2.5 hours)
- 5:00 PM – Back at car (2:30 hr drive)
- 7:30 PM – Back home
Gear
- Clothes for overnight low of 49 degrees, hiking temps should be mild (58 degrees, or briefly 49 degrees but then should have direct sun)
- Sunglasses/sunscreen
- No snow gear needed (route snow free)
- Water filter
- 1L water for the initial backpack in
